WCH Las Vegas Hosts "Spring Cowboy" Humanitarian Excursion to Red Rock and Mt. Charleston to Support the Homeless

Nevada, USA - March 18, 2026 - Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura (Queen Maria) and WCH regional leaders organized a "Spring Cowboy" themed excursion to Red Rock and Mt. Charleston. The event raised $400 for the homeless in Las Vegas while celebrating Huong Vo’s birthday and welcoming international guest Iro Smith.

The day-long humanitarian journey, organized by WCH Las Vegas Regional Director Lola Smallen and Deputy Director Leah Halama, combined the scenic beauty of Nevada with a focused mission of service. Dressed in spirited Western attire, participants explored the iconic landscapes of Red Rock Canyon and Mt. Charleston, fostering a spirit of "philantourism" and global sisterhood.

The event featured an esteemed group of humanitarian advocates, including Ms. Helen Hanson (WCH Woman of the Year, Las Vegas 2025), Ms. Huong Vo (WCH Regional Director for Los Angeles), Ms. Hally from Los Angeles, and Ms. Iro Smith (WCH Woman of the Year 2025, Bali), who is currently visiting from Greece.

In addition to the fundraising efforts, which generated $400 for the benefit of the homeless population in Las Vegas, the gathering served as a warm birthday celebration for Ms. Huong Vo and an international welcome for Ms. Smith. The group enjoyed a day of laughter, photography, and a shared lunch, proving that collective joy can be a powerful engine for charitable impact.
