BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – Colegio San Agustin-Biñan's College Department commemorated its silver anniversary celebration with a series of culturally rich and intellectually stimulating activities that showcased the institution’s commitment to excellence through Augustinian tradition and innovation.

The Silver Anniversary Week commenced on March 4 with the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a Timeline Photo Exhibit, which eloquently displayed the significant milestones of the department from its establishment in 1998 to the present. This reflective exhibit offered a visual journey through the department’s evolution and growth, symbolizing its steadfast dedication to educational excellence.

Simultaneously, the aroma of creativity filled the air with Food, Tradition, Innovation: Inter-Senior High School Culinary Competition. The event saw a spirited contest among teams from Laguna's senior high school students in cupcake decorating, fruit and vegetable carving, and live hot cooking. The participants' skills were keenly evaluated by distinguished judges: hotel and resort managers Cid Datu and Ariel Panahon Tengco, and caterer Marianne Grace Pio-Cruz.

Alongside the culinary flair, the students also gleaned insights from business consultant, entrepreneur, and CSA College alumnus Dion Jeffrey G. Flores in a seminar on Navigating the Startup Sphere, reflecting the college's nurturing of future industry innovators.

The following days, March 5 and 6, were marked by the Conference on the Dynamics of Tradition and Innovation, which welcomed senior high school students from CSA and various schools in Laguna.

Distinguished speakers, including CSA School President Rev. Fr. Wilson A. Capellan, OSA, HR Practitioner Katherine Y. Punzalan, and Winfield Institute CEO Aurea A. Sugay, illuminated the intricacies of balancing tradition and innovation in diverse domains from global perspectives to technological communications.

The evening of March 7 was a fusion of artistry and elegance during the Red Carpet College Night. The event featured a spoken word poetry performance by spoken word contest champion Alessandra Abala and the traditional cotillon de honor by college students, creating a space where culture and education intertwine.
