Philippine Airlines among Asia’s ‘Most On-Time’ airlines for 2024

Philippine Airlines (PAL) once again made it to the top ten most punctual airlines in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024. Now ranked as the seventh most punctual airline, advancing one notch from its #8 ranking last year, PAL was the only Philippine carrier to be awarded a top 10 ranking among Asia-Pacific’s “Top Airline Performers”.

According to the 2024 Cirium On-Time Performance Report, PAL achieved an on-time arrival performance of 76.06%, covering over 112,000 flights across the Philippine flag carrier’s global network.

For the month of January 2024 in particular, PAL clinched the #1 Most Punctual Airline spot with an on-time performance of 86.85%.

Stanley K. Ng.

The seventh-place ranking puts PAL ahead of most Southeast Asian, Chinese, Korean and Australian carriers. Airlines from Japan, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Australia rounded out the top ten list for 2024.
