MicroSourcing and Beepo donate more than P500k for Brigada Eskwela Project Year 4

In an effort to advance their commitments to education and support the Department of Education's (DepEd) annual Brigada Eskwela activity, MicroSourcing and Beepo launched a donation drive in September and raised PHP 503,600 in cash, which was used to provide essential school supplies and health kits to 1,190 students in Busuanga, Palawan, and Tanay, Rizal in preparation for their face-to-face classes.

Over 130 of their volunteers have also joined several Ligtas Balik Eskwela activities, including personalized health and safety box making, liquid hand soap production, school refurbishment, and mural design

On September 15, Beepo volunteers produced 50 colorful and unique storage containers for hygiene kits for the students of Mandaluyong Additional Hills Elementary School. The kit includes soap, toothpaste, a toothbrush, alcohol, face masks, and a towel.

On the next day, September 16, MicroSourcing volunteers made 210 bottles of liquid hand soap for Silangan Elementary School in Taguig. This will provide 100 days of hygiene support to 5,000 students.

More volunteers painted classroom walls and cleaned tables and chairs at Ricardo P. Cruz Sr. Elementary School and created a mural wall art piece in Sto. Rosario Elementary School on September 17 and 14, respectively.
