Philippines - February 14, 2025 - Hive Modular, a rising leader in sustainable pre-fabricated housing, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Alesea Inc., a KMC-affiliated entity striving to be the Philippines’ largest provider of branded villas, for the development of up to 10 modular house units in Bohol, Central Visayas. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in providing high-end, sustainable short-term rental options to support Bohol’s thriving tourism industry. 

The project, valued at over 100 million PHP, will feature Hive Modular’s signature Casita One45 model—a 45-square-meter modular home designed with sustainability at its core. Each unit includes one bedroom, a bath, a kitchen, and a deck, with 80% of materials sourced locally. The Casita One45 units will serve as premium short-term rentals, offering visitors a unique blend of modern design and sustainable living.

This collaboration also accelerates Alesea’s audacious goal of launching 200 premium short-term rental homes within 200 weeks—a big step towards making sustainable, premium stays more accessible across the Philippines. The Alesea team is guided by the founders of KMC, a leader in Philippine real estate and workspace solutions, and Diamond Concept Inc., the country’s leading provider of premium architectural surface materials, such as wood floors and tiles. Their combined know-how strengthens Alesea’s vision and this collaboration, ensuring each Hive Modular home is built to the impeccable design standards of Alesea.
