Golden Arrow Awards recognizes Petron’s good governance

Petron Corporation is once again a recipient of the prestigious Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors at the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Awards held on September 19.

This further strengthens Petron’s track record “as a top-performing publicly listed company in the Philippines under the 2023 ACGS.”

Arrow Award recipients demonstrate compliance with the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and globally recommended corporate governance practices. Companies are scored according to publicly available disclosures on a company’s website regarding shareholder rights facilitation, transparency, and accountability in disclosing material information, and board performance, among others.

This year, Petron notably celebrated its 30th year as a publicly listed company. Its initial public offering (IPO) in 1994 was known as the “mother of all IPOs,” attracting 500,000 shareholders.
