WCH Extends 2026 Global Santa Initiative to Roșia Village, Romania with Aid and Authentic Culinary Tradition

Sibiu County, Romania - November 07, 2026 - We Care for Humanity (WCH) extended its 2026 Global Santa humanitarian outreach to the modest rural community of Roșia village, situated near Sibiu city. The visit was highlighted by a heartfelt reception hosted by the Subțirelu family—a warm and welcoming family distinguished by their compassion, generosity, and steadfast dedication to their community.

The host family welcomed the We Care for Humanity delegation with an authentic culinary Romanian experience, offering a true encounter with traditional Romanian soul cooking. The delegation enjoyed a sumptuous cauldron-cooked lunch featuring traditional sheep meat and a sheep barbecue, capturing the rich heritage and warmth of the country environment.

"We enjoyed the sumptuous lunch, feeling the heart and spirit of the country," said Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura (Queen Maria). "Connecting with the families here reminds us that true humanitarian work is rooted in genuine human warmth, hospitality, and shared kindness."

During the visit, Queen Maria spent quality time bonding with the local children, who guided the delegation on a tour of the family farm. To support the family and the children's immediate needs, Queen Maria presented a cash donation on behalf of WCH, reaffirming the organization's commitment to returning for future community initiatives.

The Global Santa initiative continues its mission across rural and underserved regions worldwide, delivering aid, hope, and meaningful connection.
