Panasonic Notice to the Public Regarding a Reported Scam

To our Dear Customers,

We received reports that a recent scam has been circulating in a multiplatform messaging application, WhatsApp, and pretending to be from Lazada. The scammer is using our company name Panasonic Philippines without our knowledge and authorization. The reported scam activities are described as follows:

a. The scammer shall ask the customer/individual to subscribe, like, or comment on Panasonic Philippines’ business page in exchange for a commission.

b. The scammer shall demand money from the customer/individual as a requirement for alleged processing and claiming of a commission.

Panasonic Philippines does not support or participate in any way in such type of marketing approach where individual customers may earn commissions through the abovementioned schemes. The public is therefore encouraged to be more vigilant in dealing with such kind of similar online activities.
