YAZZ Prepaid Cards will be deactivated starting February 18, 2025, with balance transfer options available for Metrobank account holders.
Starting February 18, 2025, all YAZZ Prepaid Cards will be deactivated. You can still continue to use your YAZZ Prepaid Card for purchases and ATM withdrawals until February 17, 2025.
Should you opt to transfer your balance to an existing Metrobank deposit account, you may call the YAZZ customer service at (02) 87373333 or 09178005751.
If you don't have a Metrobank deposit account, you can open a Metrobank eSavings account via the Earnest App today.

YAZZ Prepaid Decommission FAQs:
1. Until when can I use my YAZZ Prepaid Card?
All YAZZ Prepaid cards will be deactivated on February 18, 2025. You may still use your card for purchases and ATM withdrawals until February 17, 2025.
2. What will happen to my YAZZ Prepaid card on February 18, 2025?
• Your YAZZ Prepaid card will be deactivated and will no longer be usable for purchases or ATM withdrawals.
• Your remaining balance will be subject to inactivity fees. A PHP 25 monthly inactivity fee will be charged to your account after 180 days of inactivity until our account balance is zeroed out.
• If you have no existing Metrobank deposit or prepaid account yet, we encourage you to open an eSavings account today. Simply download the Earnest app and register using your mobile phone to get started.
• Once you have an eSavings account, kindly contact our YAZZ customer hotline at (02) 87-373-333 or 0917-800-5751 to request for balance transfer before February 18, 2025.
3. What product can I replace my YAZZ Prepaid Card with?
We encourage you to open an eSavings account via the Earnest App to continue enjoying our products and services.
4. Can I still load my prepaid card before it gets deactivated?
Yes, you will still be able to reload your YAZZ Prepaid Card until December 31, 2024. To avoid any inconvenience, we encourage you to use its remaining balance until February 17, 2025.
5. What are my options if I still have a remaining balance in my YAZZ prepaid card?
• You may continue to use your YAZZ Prepaid Card for purchases and withdrawals until February 17, 2025.
• Alternatively, you may request to transfer your remaining load balance to your Metrobank deposit or prepaid account by calling our YAZZ Customer Service at (02) 87-373-333 or 0917-800-5751.
• If you don’t have a Metrobank deposit or prepaid account yet, you can open a Metrobank eSavings account via Earnest App.
6. How do I request to transfer my YAZZ Prepaid balance to my Metrobank deposit or prepaid account?
• You’ll need to contact our YAZZ customer hotline at (02) 87-373-333 or 0917-800-5751 to request for balance transfer.
• Provide your YAZZ account details and your Metrobank deposit account or prepaid account number to our customer service agent. Make sure that both accounts are under your name and that the provided details are correct to ensure that your funds are properly credited.
7. Is there a fee for balance transfer request?
None, balance transfer from your YAZZ prepaid account to your Metrobank deposit or prepaid account is free of charge.
8. When will my balance reflect on my Metrobank deposit account or prepaid account?
• It takes 5 banking days for it to be transferred to your Metrobank deposit account or prepaid account.
• To check your balance and get real-time updates, log in to your Metrobank Online App for real-time updates.
9. Can I visit any Metrobank branch and request for balance transfer?
Unfortunately, our YAZZ Prepaid Card operates outside Metrobank’s branch network. You may call our YAZZ customer hotline at (02) 87-373-333 or 0917-800-5751 to request for balance transfer.
10. Can I visit any Metrobank branch and claim my load balance?
• Unfortunately, our YAZZ Prepaid Card operates outside Metrobank’s branch network. You can withdraw your remaining balance via an ATM. ATM transaction fees may apply on non-Metrobank ATMs.
• If you already have an existing Metrobank deposit or prepaid account, you can request for balance transfer by calling our YAZZ customer hotline at (02) 87-373-333 or 0917-800 5751.
11. Can I request a cheque to claim my balance?
• You can only request to transfer your remaining load balance to your Metrobank deposit account by calling our YAZZ Customer Service at (02) 87-373-333 or 0917-800-5751.

14. How to properly dispose of your YAZZ Prepaid card?
Please safely dispose your card by following this guide:
a. Cut the card into pieces, particularly the magnetic stripe and EMV chip
b. Dispose the card pieces in separate trash bags or containers.
