Chinabank and Visa Partner to Deliver Enhanced Digital Payment Solutions

Chinabank has entered into a partnership agreement with Visa to provide customers with more innovative products and services tailored to modern digital payment preferences. The contract signing was held on August 13, 2024 at the CBC Head Office Boardroom.
CBC Consumer Banking Segment Head Aloysius Alday Jr., CFO Patrick Cheng, and Director Claire Ann Yap, and Visa Group Country Manager for Regional Southeast Asia Arturo Planell and Visa Philippines Country Manager Jeffrey Navarro signed the agreement, marking another milestone for both companies and the beginning of a promising collaboration.
Through this partnership, Chinabank integrates Visa’s payment technologies to streamline transactions, offering customers a smooth and secure payment experience. Visa cardholders are also privy to exclusive offers and rewards, designed to provide additional value and enhance customer satisfaction.

CBC and Visa are set to announce new products and special promotions in the coming months, including the launch of Chinabank Velvet Visa Signature, the bank's first ever Visa-branded credit card.
