Cebu Hacktoberfest 2024 Kicks Off with Opening Day Event at enspace

Cebu City - September 28, 2024 - Cebu City, Philippines – On October 5, 2024, Cebu will play host to an exciting opening day of Hacktoberfest 2024 at enspace Cebu, a month-long global celebration of open-source software development. Organized by JavaScript Cebu and PizzaPy Cebu Python Users Group, this local edition of the international event promises to bring together tech enthusiasts, developers, and innovators from the region.

Cebu’s Growing Tech Scene

Cebu has seen a tremendous rise in tech talent and innovation over the past few years, and Hacktoberfest 2024 serves as a testament to the region's commitment to fostering growth in technology and open-source software. This event is open to anyone with an interest in technology, from seasoned developers to beginners looking to make their first contribution.

The event will be held at the 14th floor of Latitude Corporate Center, located in Cebu Business Park, and will run from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. One of the key highlights of Hacktoberfest Cebu 2024 will be a month-long hackathon running from October 5 to 27.

In collaboration with Cebu's leading tech organizations, the event will offer workshops, talks, and hands-on coding sessions aimed at encouraging participants of all skill levels to contribute to open-source software.
