British School Manila Community Runs for Good Causes

Whilst the event migrated online during the pandemic, this year marked the first in-person event since permission for face-to-face learning classes to resume was granted at the end of 2021. Held in Urdaneta Village before the pandemic, this was the first time the event had been held in BGC and the first to be held using the school’s newly resurfaced field.

More than 350 members of the school’s international community participated in the event, helping to raise valuable funds for the school’s Service & Sustainability partners. Students, families and staff participating were cheered on by supporters as they took part in their chosen challenge distances. Afterwards they had the opportunity to enjoy food and beverage from a variety of student-run stalls and local vendors.

The event is one of many held throughout the year to support their partner organisations.
