British-Filipino AI Visionary Becomes First to Teach Ukrainian Government Prompt Engineering Amidst War

Against the backdrop of conflict, Edward Morris, a British-Filipino entrepreneur and CEO of UK-based company Enigmatica, is bringing the power of Artificial Intelligence to Ukraine. This milestone marks a historic first: Edward Morris is the pioneer bringing Prompt Engineering directly to the Ukrainian government having held a workshop with them and upskilled their own employees. With hundreds in attendance. His groundbreaking initiative underscores the pivotal role AI plays in navigating modern global challenges and adapting to them.

Edward Morris’s journey began with an invitation from the Ukrainian government after delivering a captivating lecture series at Taras Shevchenko University. Despite the ongoing war, the university remains resolute in its mission to equip students and professionals with transformative skills such as AI and Prompt Engineering. Bomb shelters converted into classrooms, lectures are often punctuated by air raid sirens, yet the institution’s unwavering commitment to education shines through.

From there on, Morris trained Ukrainian officials on harnessing AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and other Large Language Models. His curriculum also introduced automation techniques for AI Agents, as well as the implementation of AI Agents. One example he demonstrated was of an Agent that assists government offices by automatically sorting and responding to routine inquiries, drastically reducing response times and freeing up staff to focus on more critical tasks. A follow-up session later this month will going deeper into AI Agent-based technologies, expanding on these critical innovations.
