Barcodes Philippines strengthens support for local businesses selling in stores and online

Manila, Philippines - June 03, 2026 - Barcodes Philippines has announced a major upgrade to its online services, giving local businesses simpler tools for buying, managing, and using retail barcodes through barcodes.ph.

The improvements bring together the company's main ecommerce website, customer portal, Philippine Products Database, and International Barcodes Database. The goal is to make it easier for small businesses, manufacturers, importers, and distributors to prepare their products for sale in the Philippines and overseas.

Barcodes Philippines was established in 2017 to make retail access more affordable for small and medium enterprises. Instead of requiring businesses to pay ongoing annual fees, the company supplies legitimate EAN and UPC retail barcodes for a one-off price.

The portal also now supports ITF-14 barcode management for outer cartons and shipping cases. This helps businesses that sell wholesale or supply retailers with boxed goods keep their product and carton barcodes organised in one place.

When customers manage their product details through the portal, their information can also be listed in both the Philippine Products Database (philippineproducts.info) and the International Barcodes Database (barcodesdatabase.org). This gives products a clearer online record and helps retailers, distributors, and consumers look up basic product information more easily.

Barcodes Philippines is the officially authorised supplier of the International Barcodes Network in the Philippines.
